We use the Ecocert-certified stabilised form of vitamin C, ascorbyl glucoside, which is much gentler on your skin compared to other forms of L-ascorbic acid. In collaboration with Estonian University of Life Sciences Estonian Nettle Extract was first developed from local organic wild nettles The extract has been prepared in optimal concentrations, containing the highest levels of antioxidants and polyphenols.

The serum has been packaged in an innovative airless glass bottle with a pump that is the first such unique bottle in the world ! Smart bottle knows when all the product has been used and the pump can be opened. This bottle gives maximum protection and purity to the product.

PURE INGREDIENTS

Key ingredients

Vitamin C

...is a powerful antioxidant that protects our skin from the signs of premature ageing, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, is essential for the production of collagen, reduces skin imperfections (acne), reduces pigmentation, smoothes and lightens skin tone.

The product contains the Ecocert-certified stabilised form of vitamin C, ascorbyl glucoside, which is gentler on the skin and does not cause skin irritation compared to other forms of L-ascorbic acid. Ascorbyl glucoside is the most clinically advanced form of vitamin C, with all three properties of vitamin C: antioxidant and free radical protection, increased collagen production, reduced pigmentation. In vitro studies have shown that ascorbyl glucoside is absorbed through the skin and converted into pure vitamin C - that's where the good properties come from.

The product contains a 15% vitamin C derivative, which gives the product its powerful properties.

Estonian nettle extract
... Anti-inflammatory and anti-swelling properties, high content of antioxidants and polyphenols, helps support collagen production, thus reducing the signs of ageing. Nettle extract was developed in collaboration with the Estonian University of Life Sciences, with an optimal concentration rich in antioxidants and polyphenols. Nettles are also rich in silicon, which is used to prevent and treat scars.
Aesthetic birch sap
...contains natural antioxidants, electrolytes, various sugars and vitamin C. Birch sap is known for its moisturising and anti-ageing properties. In vivo In vivo studies have shown that birch sap helps to improve skin elasticity and has cell renewal properties.
Aloe vera juice
...is a well-known skin care ingredient. Aloe vera has moisturising, soothing, anti-inflammatory and damage repair properties. These properties make it ideal as a base for a vitamin C serum in combination with Estonian birch sap.
Kakadu plum extract
...has the highest natural vitamin C content of any fruit in the world. Strong antioxidant effect (+54% after 30 min and +79% after 24h), increases vitamin C absorption, increases collagen production (+59%), strengthens blood vessels, i.e. the dermis, and improves the overall appearance of the skin, brightens skin tone, reduces skin tone. Superoxide dismutase
...is an enzyme that protects us from superoxide radicals. It reduces erythema, i.e. redness of the skin caused by UV rays, neutralizes the effects of the superoxide radical, protects us from the damaging effects of the environment, enhances the effects of sunscreens and fights against photo-aging.
Tamarind seed polysaccharide
...is a polysaccharide, a sugar from the seed of the tamarind, the world's most beautiful tropical tree. It provides an immediate moisturising effect on the skin (immediate increase of +59.2%) - more effective than hyaluronic acid, improves skin elasticity, reduces skin roughness (-27.6%), improves skin density (+7.9%). ) and reduces the activity of the ß-galactosidase enzyme (-21%, used as an ageing marker in clinical studies).
Hyaluronic acid
...is a natural sugar molecule found in various connective tissues of our body, including the skin. Moisturised skin means skin that is rich in water - that's where hyaluronic acid comes in! Hyaluronic acid has been tasted in various clinical trials. While tamarind polysaccharide provides an immediate moisturising effect, the aim of hyaluronic acid is to provide a long-lasting moisturising effect. Hyaluronic acid is able to bind large quantities of water, providing a high moisture content, accelerating wound healing, reducing redness and eschar, increasing skin elasticity, reducing fine lines, wrinkles and roughness.
Spirulina extract
...extracted from Spirulina Platensis a seaweed whose anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial benefits have increased its popularity in recent years for the treatment of imperfect skin. It is a potent antioxidant, and its collagen-increasing effect has also been shown to be beneficial, so spirulina may also have an anti-ageing effect. The anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects of spirulina extract make it an excellent ingredient for the treatment of skin imperfections (acne, pimples, eczema, psoriasis).
Hamalelis extract
...is extracted from the leaves of the hamamelis plant and has been widely used to treat skin imperfections. It is an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, making it an ideal ingredient for treating skin imperfections.

Clinically and dermatologically tested

The serum has been clinically and dermatologically tested in collaboration with Medemis Clinic Estonia. Vitamin C Facial Serum has been tested for 2 months in collaboration with a dermatologist.

The aim of the tests was to understand the effectiveness of the serum in reducing pigmentation, smoothing and brightening skin tone and reducing the signs of ageing.

Biomarker tests

Different biomarkers characteristic of normal skin were analysed during the 3 weeks of vitamin C facial serum treatment, using skin molecular tests (transdermal analysis patch TAP) to assess possible skin irritation. Vitamin C facial serum did not cause any skin irritation in clinical trial participants.

WHO?
Vitamin C Facial Serum is suitable for all skin types, young and mature skin for year-round use. Ideal for 25+ skin care and skin with imperfections. The product is water-based and does not clog pores.
How to use?
Apply a thin layer of the product (press the pump twice) on the face and neck morning and evening after cleansing. As the serum contains hyaluronic acid, we suggest gently patting your face with water after using the serum - for maximum effect! After applying the serum, you can use a moisturiser.
The serum also contains sugar molecules and you may feel a slight stickiness on your skin immediately after applying the serum - this is normal and disappears once the serum is fully absorbed.
The serum can be used as a daily skin care treatment or as a course of treatment. Vitamin C serums are particularly popular after summer, when signs of pigmentation and changes in skin tone caused by the sun's UV rays appear.
Use sunscreen when spending time in the sun.
